How to Delete a Set
Section titled “How to Delete a Set”If a particular maintenance routine is retired or a kit is no longer relevant, you can delete the Set to keep your dashboard clean.
System Safeguard – Inventory Protection
Section titled “System Safeguard – Inventory Protection”Deleting a Set:
- Does not delete any underlying Parts.
- Does not delete any Inventory records.
It removes only the grouping template. All physical stock remains available in your warehouses.
warning: Template cleanup only Once deleted, the Set can no longer be selected on new Work Orders. Make sure it is truly obsolete.
Step 1 – Access the Sets List
Section titled “Step 1 – Access the Sets List”- From the main sidebar, expand Parts & Supplies.
- Click Sets to open the list.
Step 2 – Open the Action Menu
Section titled “Step 2 – Open the Action Menu”- Find the Set you want to remove.
- Click the More (⋯) icon in the far‑right column of that row.
Step 3 – Select Delete
Section titled “Step 3 – Select Delete”- From the dropdown, select Delete (highlighted in red with a trash‑can icon).
- A confirmation prompt appears.
Step 4 – Confirm Deletion
Section titled “Step 4 – Confirm Deletion”- Verify you have selected the correct Set.
- Confirm the action.
The Set is permanently removed from your active list while all associated parts and inventory remain intact.
